The spray that comes will leave linens damp so we let them dry before putting them away. The smell sticks around for a while but not in an overpowering way and I definitely enjoy it. We got it because of an infestation of plant mites, they kept getting into the clean linens and lost in closets. No matter how much we cleaned they would slowly come back and reinfest. We have been using this for months and we haven't seen them since. We still keep up with cleaning but we no longer need to wash every towel and sheet we own every week.
