Very impressed with the quality of this product and intend to purchase regularly whenever I run out. I am quite familiar with which ingredients are harmful to the body and which aren't, so after reading the ingredients of this product- I knew the company took seriously the quality of their products since the ingredients are organic, but specifically since coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, etc. are already healthy ingredients to put on the body (in this case lips). In fact, I used to make my own lip balm, but now I don't have my recipe nor the supplies to make it anymore. Nowadays, I would rather purchase someone else's own lip balm that already has a company name, finished products, etc.- this company/owner seems reliable and worth purchasing quality products at for long-term. Definitely recommended.
I like peppermint lip balms and decided to give this a shot in comparison to a different brand I was using that was also organic. This has been holding up inside my purse very well in varying temperatures. My other kind would sometimes separate and become kernel-y after being in my purse for about a month. This has so far stayed creamy. The warmer it is the 'oilier' it feels, but honestly it almost feels like a hydrating kiss so I have no complaints on that. It's hard to describe the effect, but it really does go on "wet" without actually being that way. It's very hydrating and makes application so easy (doesn't require heavy application). I will say I kind of prefer my peppermints to be a bit more zingy and poppish. My other kind had enough to give your lips a bit of a tingle. This one does not have that at all. The peppermint is extremely subtle, you notice more of the beeswax I believe than the peppermint. I could see how other people may appreciate the softer effect, though, it is merely my personal preference for a bit more peppermint. Aside from that, I would recommend trying this product! It's much better than what you buy at a convenience store.
