Vintage Cousances no. 16 enameled cast iron milkpan / sauce pan with lid and wooden handle. Made in France, probably in the 1960s. Cousances was the first cast iron foundry in the world, founded in France in 1553. In 1957, Cousances was acquired by Le Creuset, who continued to make Cousances as a line until the early 1980s.

Fair vintage condition: Enamel on the bottom of the interior feels and looks dull / matte compared to the sides and underside of the lid. There are a few chips in the enamel along the top of the lid and upper edge of the pan.

Overall Dimensions: 12.5 x 7.5 (with spout) x 4.5 inch (to top of lid)
[pan is 6.5 in diameter x 3 in deep]
1 Qt Capacity
