Vintage Cousances enameled cast iron multipurpose No. 18 sauce pan with skillet lid. Made in France, probably in the 1960s. Cousances was the first cast iron foundry in the world, founded in France in 1553. In 1957, Cousances was acquired by Le Creuset, who continued to make Cousances as a line until the early 1980s.
Very good vintage condition: Still has original label on the side. Enamel is bright and shiny inside and out. Very slight utensil marks on inside of pan. There is one scrape mark on the handle of the lid where it looks like it was stored with the lid upside down on the pan and the edge of the pan scuffed it (see detail photo).

Fair = Has larger cosmetic damage (i.e. larger scratches, worn areas, large chips, etc.), but still usable.
Poor = Major cosmetic issues and / or damaged beyond original intended use.
